International Students

International students are non-U.S. citizens who require a visa to attend SBU.

Student Visa

During the final semester of your FLY program, you will receive email communication from Visa and Immigration Services (VIS) on how to begin the process of obtaining an F-1 student visa.  Be sure to carefully read and follow these instructions.  We recommend you start your student visa process as soon as possible so you have enough time for consular interviews and processing.
