Welcome new Seawolf parents! We know that the decision to attend university is often one made with parents and family. In understanding that, we seek to ensure that the parents and families of all FLY participants have access to program information so they can provide the best support to their students.
SBU and FLY staff are always happy to speak with parents about general program details, but to remain in compliance with FERPA, we are often unable to speak to individual details about our program participants. We encourage all students to keep their parents and family informed before and during their program.
The FLY team has a vested interest in ensuring students have a healthy, safe, and academically rewarding experience during their program. We invite all FLY students and parents to attend program orientation to receive the most up-to-date details about what to expect from the FLY experience and meet the FLY team.
