PhD Rules and policies

Program rules and guidelines can be found in the rules and policies booklet. Please also see the separate pages containing expanded guidelines for the Qualifier Exam and Thesis Proposal, as well as the FAQ page with general questions about the program, registration, etc.  The expected timeline for students is found in the graphic below.  Remember that the program (upon Steering Committee approval) can grant exceptions to all deadlines and requirements and, when reasonable, will be flexible to accomodate your specific circumstances.
