  • Academic Information

    Course Information

Peking University summer program is divided into two programs. Program information is below. (6 credits required)

    Program: PKUSSI

Courses are scheduled in sessions: A, B, AB

In order to satisfy Stony Brook University degree requirements, courses must be 3 credits. The courses are divided into three levels: General; Advanced; and Frontier, and split between three sessions: Session A; Session B and Session A&B. Each student may only choose courses from within one level and cross sessions, provided the times do not clash.

It is possible to satisfy degree requirements by enrolling in two 2 credit courses evaluated as the same SBC category. For example Classic Chinese Poetry may be combined with Chinese Folklore and Culture to satisfy the HFA+ requirement. So a student will earn 4 credits to satisfy the SBC requirement.

Each course has a limited number of places. To ensure your students are able to choose their desired course, we strongly recommend submitting your application as soon as possible.
