Housing rates are divided into several categories for first-year, continuing, graduate,
and Southampton residents. Rooms can be configured as a single (one bedroom per person),
a double (one bedroom shared between two persons), or a three-person room (one bedroom
shared between three persons). These buildings may contain different amenities, such
as air conditioning (A/C) and/or cooking kitchens.
A double room with no amenities is the same cost regardless of corridor or suite
style. The number of bedrooms in a suite or an apartment do not impact the rate. Additional
amenities increase the rates such as air conditioning and cooking within the unit.
For monthly rate types, air conditioning costs are divided amongst all months even
though units are not operable during the cold season. To learn more about our residence

Fall 2025 Undergraduate Agreement rates include: August 23, 2025 - January 5, 2026
Spring 2026 Undergraduate Agreement rates include: January 5, 2026 - May 20, 2026
Graduate Agreements are monthly rates with an agreement ending May 31, 2026
Meal Plan Information: All units that do not provide cooking in unit require a meal plan. Apartments, Hand
Hall, and 3-Bedroom units in Gershwin Hall have kitchens in unit. All first year and
new transfer students are required to have a meal plan for their first two semesters.

room selection: Your 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 rates are based on a standard increase from your 2024-2025
agreement period. The 2025-2026 rates were emailed to you at the start of the Returning
Resident Room Selection. Your specific room rate based on your assignment can be found
on your Assignment Confirmation page in the Housing Portal. If you choose to return
for 2027-2028, you will be under the new rate structure.
