• When do the applications open for the Commencement Regalia Loaner program?

  The Undergraduate Regalia Loaner Program application for Spring 2025 Commencement will be available for submission starting February 27th and close on April 14th, 2025, at 11:59 pm. Apply HERE. 

  The Graduate Regalia Loaner Program application for Spring 2025 Commencement will be available for submission starting February 27th and will close on April 7th, 2025, at 11:59 pm. Apply HERE.

• How will I know if I am eligible for the Commencement Regalia Loaner program?

  Undergraduate and Graduate students facing financial hardship who are participating in the May 2025 commencement ceremony are eligible to apply. Regalia loaner bundles are limited and will be awarded based on financial need, which includes a review by the Office of Financial Aid and a written personal statement from the applicant. 

• What is included in the regalia loaner bundle?

  The regalia loaner bundle includes a cap, gown, tassel, and hood. 

• What if I already purchased regalia? Can I return it and apply for the loaner regalia?

  The Commencement Regalia Loaner Program is intended for students who cannot afford to purchase commencement regalia due to financial hardship. If you have already purchased your regalia, we encourage you to keep it and wear it to commencement. 

• Do I have to return my loaner regalia bundle?

  Yes, you will be required to return the gown and hood following commencement celebrations. You may keep the cap and tassel. 

  *Doctoral students will be charged the full rental fee if the gown and hood are not returned

• When and where do I pick up my loaner regalia bundle?

  The Student Support Team will communicate a pick-up time and location to recipients when they have been accepted into the program. Recipients can plan to pick up their regalia in early May.
