MAKE A PSYCHOLOGY MAJOR ADVISING APPOINTMENT
Planning Your Program
As a Psychology major, it's important to start planning your coursework early. Meet with both your major and general education advisors (ATAS) at least once per semester to ensure you're making appropriate progress toward your degree requirements.
For semester scheduling, it is recommended to make an appointment with your Major Advisor for major-specific courses, then meet with a General Advisor in Academic and Transfer Advising Services (ATAS) for general education requirements.
Students needing help with semester scheduling should schedule an appointment well
in advance—ideally 1-2 months before the registration period, especially during your
Senior Year. Many students meet with advisors multiple times per semester, particularly
after their Sophomore Year.
