Faculty in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (FAHSS) Program

Encourage interdisciplinary conversation, research, and teaching within and across arts, humanities, and social sciences disciplines. Two award opportunities are available: individual projects funded at up to $3,500, and interdisciplinary projects funded at up to $7,500.

Seed Grant Program

Managed by the Office of Proposal Development within the Office for Research and Innovation, the OVPR Seed Grant Program aims to give Stony Brook University faculty a competitive edge in securing external research funds by supporting and fostering innovative scientific and scholarly activities that will lead to the development of proposals with a greater likelihood of success.
