LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to demonstrate a mastery of the foundational techniques and concepts of Advanced Calculus, Linear Algebra, and EITHER Probability OR Differential Equations.

2. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able to demonstrate a mastery of the foundational techniques of a specific discipline within the Mathematical Sciences (Computational Applied Math, Operations Research, Statistics, Computational Biology or Quantitative Finance).

3. Upon completion of the degree, students should be able apply computational tools to solve real-world problems in one of the mathematical sciences.
