Using Technology to Promote Active Literacy and Learning
Participants will explore how to use various technology tools to cultivate active literacy and learning in the classroom and during distance learning. Through synchronous video meetings and screen recorded tutorials, teachers will learn how to create and share unit plans and lessons that enable students to reflect on their learning, discover their voice, create and interact with their task, peers & teacher. Participants will experiment with ways in which they can provide meaningful support and feedback in conjunction with these lessons to move students towards active literacy and learning.
