Book Study: Lost at School
This class will be a literature study focused on Dr. Ross Greene’s book Lost at School: Why Our Kids with Behavioral Challenges Are Falling Through the Cracks and How We Can Help Them. Participants of this course will be required to read the book and consider the value of a non-punitive approach to discipline in reducing behavior incidents by using a collaborative, problem-solving approach through weekly forums with colleagues. The course will also focus on key competencies of Social Emotional Learning.
