Best Practices for Online Student  Collaboration

Social-emotional learning is a critical component of each and every child’s education. How can we help students to develop self-awareness and interpersonal skills in a remote learning model? Explore strategies and technological tools that encourage student involvement and collaboration during remote learning including shared Google Drive folders for small group projects, Zoom breakout rooms, and sharing videos through Flipgrid and Recap. During this self-paced course, participants will also investigate free communication apps to use with students and parents such as Bloomz, Slack, Remind, ClassParrot, and GroupMe.
