First Gen - a full scholarship for a five day workshop for an applicant who is a first generation
college graduate or attendee.Please include a personal statement - 300 words max. (deadline

Local Voices - a full scholarship as a commuter in a 5-day workshop for a year-round resident
of the East End of Long Island (Riverhead-MTK/Orient). Please include a personal statement
- 300 words max. (deadline March 15)
Shinnecock Indian Nation - a full scholarship in a 5-day workshop for a member of the Shinnecock Indian Nation.
Please include a personal statement - 300 words max. (deadline March 15)
If applying for funding, your personal statement should be 300 words or less.
If applying for Children's Lit Conference funding and require a letter of rec, please
arrange for a recommender to send a letter attesting to the strength of your work
and your level of commitment.
Funding is only available for non-credit participants.
