Stony Brook University Hazing Prevention Pledge

In signing the pledge, you join our campaign to recognize the harm that hazing causes physically, emotionally, and psychologically; condemn the act of hazing; admonish those who haze and those who enable hazing through their silence; and be an advocate for the prevention of all hazing behavior.

In doing so, you pledge to do everything in your ability to prevent hazing before it occurs, stop hazing when you see it happening, report it when you know it has occurred, and help empower others to do the same.
