Building on the successful recent inaugural Interprofessional Education (IPE) Faculty Summit at Stony Brook Medicine, this program will be a mandatory session during the Transition to Professional School course, attended jointly by incoming medical and dental students, with additional invitations sent to students of the Schools of Nursing, Social Welfare, and Health Technology and Management. Stigma can interfere with the effort of the service and its goal of reducing food insecurity among members of universities.
