2030, effective project management is crucial for success. Project Management for Offshore Wind, a collaboration between the Oceantic Network, Stony Brook University, and Total
Systems Education Ltd., addresses the unique challenges faced by project managers
in this dynamic sector. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of globally
recognized project management principles and processes, enabling them to navigate
the complexities of offshore wind projects.
Course Description
The Project Management for Offshore Wind noncredit course is a practical, hands-on course using an industry-specific case study to apply best
practices in project management, such as planning, scheduling, risk management, and
scope management. The course also emphasizes the importance of essential soft skills
for project success and explores the capabilities, usefulness and pitfalls of AI tools
in project work.

Coursework comprises 24 professional development units (PDUs)/ Contact Hours for participants who wish to earn or maintain their PMI® CAPM® or PMP® certification.
