long to get my beef -I do not care about having
of it before week after next- Mr Overton will
come over after it but as the weather this fall
is so variable it seems to be uncertain about
sending for it - If you think of coming with Sally
I will be at half of the expence of hireing a boat
If you do not think to come I wish you to send
me a line by Mr Overton on Saturday next & I will
make arrangement to get it & inform you about
it as soon as possible - I have been quite unwell
& was disappointed about going to Synod- I set out
but was obliged to return I was so unwell- I did not
preach but half a day for two Sabbath - At present
we are all comfortable as to health - Dr Gardiner and
his wife have both died in about three weeks - So un-
certain are all earthly things - How important to be
