Job Description: We seek a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Entry Baker to join our dynamic
team. If you have a love for baking and a desire to be part of a community-oriented company, we
want to hear from you!Responsibilities:
- Ingredient Preparation: Accurately measure and prepare ingredients for biscotti dough.
- Dough Handling: Make, weigh, and shape biscotti dough with precision.
- Baking: Bake biscotti to perfection, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Packaging: Cut and package biscotti, maintaining our high standards of presentation.
- Cleaning Duties:

- Clean as you go to maintain a tidy and efficient workspace.
- Wash all dishes, bowls, and baking equipment.
- Wipe down counters, ensuring surfaces are sanitary.
- Sweep and mop the bakery floor to maintain a clean environment.

- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory to ensure we have all necessary ingredients and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of baking is a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.

Location: Calverton, New YorkPart-Time Kitchen Assistant, Commercial, $18/hr starting rate
We are growing wholesale dessert manufacturer located in the Stony Brook University Calverton Incubator seeking a P/T kitchen assistant to help in our process (cooking/packing/cleaning/stock replacement). Pudding trays and cartons can weigh 25 lbs. each at times. Must be fast learner, clean, and follow training directions. Saturday & Sunday mornings 7:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (additional hours available), and Monday flexible hours. Commercial kitchen experience a plus as well as Dept. of Health Certificate. Need transportation to and from facility in Calverton. No smoking at this State Building.
