Accelerated BE/MS Program: How to Apply
Students are enccouraged to apply to this program in the spring semester of their junior year. The application must include the following required documents, submitted to Department/Graduate Staff Assistant Malina Salman at malina.salman@stonybrook.edu by the May 16 deadline.

After Submission
Application Review: Applications are reviewed by the Civil Engineering Graduate Admissions Committee.
Notification of Admission: Students are typically notified of their admission to the Accelerated Program in June.
Offer Letter: If admitted, you will receive an offer letter from CIV.
Acceptance of Offer: If you accept the offer, CIV will submit an Accelerated Program declaration to the Graduate School on your behalf.
Graduate School Approval: Once the Graduate School approves the declaration, the Accelerated Program will be added to your record.
