I study host-pathogen interactions during persistent infection. My research involves illuminating the machinisms underlying T cell modulation during persistent Salmonella infection. I am interested in further investigating the immunomodulation of the host immune system during persistent infection, which may shed light on the development and persistence of other chronic disease states
