Village Center
The village center offers writing workshops, women’s self defense courses, dancing classes, etc. It also houses small art exhibits and offers free wireless internet to visitors.

Harborfront Park
Located next to the Village Center, this expanding park project is right on the water and offers a picnic area.

Beaches
Port Jefferson Village offers residents 1 1/2 miles of shoreline on Long Island Sound. Beaches are open from mid-June to Labor Day, with lifeguards are on duty daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Port Jefferson Charles Dickens Festival
Annual weekend-long festival of performances, caroling, teas, and other themed events. Its usually held the first weekend of December.

Theatre Three
Theatre Three is a year-round, not-for-profit professional regional theatre that was founded in 1969. For the past 30 seasons, Theatre Three has occupied Athena Hall, a 125-year-old historic building. Each year, Theatre Three presents a Mainstage season of seven productions (four musicals, two plays, and A Christmas Carol). The Second Stage presents an ongoing series of events including small plays, original one-acts, staged readings, and cabaret performances.
