Research Mentor Training
The Graduate School regularly offers evidence-based training in research mentoring for graduate students, postdocs, and faculty. Participants will strengthen their research mentoring skills and gain evidence for CVs and grant and fellowship proposals.
Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT)
CELT provides training on classroom technology, pedagogy, and teaching methods. They offer consultation on instructional design and assessment as well. You can see a full list of their upcoming events here.
Institute for STEM Education (I-STEM)
I-STEM serves as a hub for numerous K-12 outreach programs on Long Island. They offer consultation to students, postdocs, and faculty in designing outreach programs for grants, including NSF broader impacts projects.
Stony Brook IRACDA Postdoctoral Training Program
The Center for Inclusive Education's NIH-funded IRACDA program offers a research and teaching training program for postdoctoral scholars in the biological sciences. Applications accepted annually.
