Main University Commencement

Our Main Commencement ceremony will take place on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium (West campus) at 11:00 AM.   Please visit the Commencement site for all information regarding the main ceremony commencement.

 

Eligible candidates may apply to graduate using the link on SOLAR.   Eligibility to participate in commencement ceremonies for the Class of 2025 is for candidates who have graduated or will graduate during the 2024-2025 academic year.

This includes: 

• Those who anticipate earned degrees or advanced certificates in Summer 2024/Fall 2024/Winter 2025
• Those who anticipate earned degrees or advanced certificates in Spring 2025/ Summer 2025/Fall 2025

Order your regalia between January 13 - March 14, 2025, and have your regalia ready to pick up at Shop Red West April 16 - May 16, 2025 (During hours of operation only. Check SBUShopRed.com for up-to-date information).

Order regalia between March 15 - April 22, 2025, and have your regalia shipped to your home.

The last day for degree candidates to apply for Spring/Summer 2025 graduation and be included in the commencement publication via SOLAR is 4/16/2025. 

The last day for Spring/Summer degree candidates to apply for graduation viaSOLAR is 5/9/25. 

Please note that applications submitted after 4/16/25 will not appear in the digital commencement publication.
