Where to Park for those Visiting the University

 

METERED LOTS: Visitors may park in any Stony Brook University metered lot for a fee of $2.50/hour payable at the lot with a debit or credit card only (no cash is accepted). Metered lots are enforced Monday-Friday from 7am-7pm. Outside of those hours, there is no fee to park in these lots.

EMERITI: Please contact the Parking Services Office if you have been appointed with Emeritus status at Stony Brook University, for current rates and to obtain a parking permit.

PARKING GARAGES: Visitors may park in any Stony Brook University parking garage for an hourly fee. The University has three parking garages. Two are located on East Campus (the Hospital Garage and the Health Sciences Center Garage) and one is located on West Campus (Administration Garage). View Parking Garage information and rates. 

Parking garages are enforced every day. The Administration Garage, located on West Campus is free on Saturday and Sunday.
