Co-founding director of the BookEnds novel revision fellowship Meg Wolitzer's novel The Interestings is being adapted for the stage, featuring a score by Sara Bareilles (Tony-nominated for her score for Waitress) with a book by Pulitzer Prize Finalist playwright Sarah Ruhl.

Congratulations to MFA in Film Artistic Director Christine Vachon! Killer Films, nominated for ten Golden Globes and awarded the Gotham for Best Feature for the film PAST LIVES. SBU Honorary Doctorate Todd Haynes' film MAY DECEMBER, also produced by Vachon, was awarded Best Actor at the Gotham Awards for Charles Melton.
