About
My laboratory is interested in understanding mechanisms underlying brain functions, including decision-making, learning and memory, and sleep. We use rodent animal models and various molecular, electrophysiological and imaging techniques to determine how a certain brain function is regulated by lipids, neuron ensembles, neuron-glia interactions, neurovascular coupling, and neural circuits. Furthermore, we extend our research from adult to aging animals, seeking insights into neurological disorders of aging.
