Assistant Professor or Associate Professor

Required Qualifications

Doctorate or ABD in music history, music theory, or ethnomusicology.

Preferred Qualifications

Research specialty in one or more of the following: music before 1600, gender and sexuality, critical race studies, or digital and new media practices.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities will include undergraduate and graduate instruction, supervision of student research and writing, advising, and departmental and university service.

Special Notes

Tenure/Non-Tenure Track. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2018.
