After her doctoral work, she was a NIH NRSA fellow at the Penn State University College of Medicine and a PENN-PORT fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. Funded by both the NSF RUI and NIH R15 programs, her current research is concerned with the epigenetic features of neurodegenerative disorders and basic yeast biology. Why I chose to join IRACDA NY-CAPS

Having been an IRACDA fellow myself (PENN-PORT, 2012-2015), I am deeply committed to the program's overarching goals. I also know first-hand what a wonderful training opportunity it is. Because of these reasons, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Stony Brook IRACDA fellows.
