Where are you originally from?
Irvine, California

How did you hear about Stony Brook University?
I was recruited to play for the Division 1 Varsity Softball team.

On Stony Brook:
I chose to study at SB because it allowed me to access an unparalleled education while competing at the highest level in my sport. It also offered a diverse and lively on-campus community that I wanted to be a part of.

I chose to study at Stony Brook because it allowed me to access an unparalleled education while competing at the highest level in my sport. It also offered a diverse and lively on-campus community that I wanted to be a part of.

Interests and accomplishments:
Some of my interests include creative writing, reading, drawing, and video games! Some of my accomplishments include being accepted into the English Honors program at Stony Brook and coming up on the completion of my Honors Thesis. I also had the pleasure of presenting my thesis at SBU's GradCon, where panelists from all over came to present their work and research. Lastly, I have written several original creative works, one of my proudest being the beginning of my original screenplay.

Clubs or organizations:
I am a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society, and the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity.

Greatest Achievement:
I consider my greatest achievement at SBU winning the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence. It is the highest honor a SUNY student can receive! Another contender is my current 4.0 cumulative GPA.

Post-graduation plans:
After graduation, I plan to take a gap year to travel and then attend law school. I am interested in pursuing criminal litigation.

Advice for potential Seawolves?
Your experience is what you make of it! Take advantage of social opportunities and pursue hobbies that you are interested in. Join the fabric of the community to maximize the resources around you!
