Donal Thomas is a PhD Candidate in the Department of History at Stony Brook University. Thematically, his research interests span across environment, global indigenous histories, knowledge transfer, medicine, imperialism, borderlands, science, and transnational history. He is one of the founders of Crisis and Catharsis, a digital humanities initiative and currently serves as the Chair for the American Society of Environmental History Early Career Caucus (ASEH ECC).
