Rick Cutright is a lateral thinking executive with an affinity for technology and a keen sense of disruptive markets. Rick has a unique fusion of technical prowess, market savvy, and global business acumen that comes from 26 years of power industry experience in military, start-up, and corporate organizations. Rick's fascination with complex electrical systems began as an underwater microgrid operator, with the U.S. Navy's nuclear submarine program and has continued throughout his career. He has explored and commercialized fuel cells, micro CHP, energy management, solar, wind, and energy storage. Rick currently focuses on portfolio strategy and hybrid applications that integrate energy storage with GE's vast generation and distribution portfolio.
